Breast cancer is the most common cancer in females in the GCC region. Bahrain has a higher proportion of breast cancer compared with other GCC countries as per 2016 Cancer Registry Bahrain statistics.

Colorectal cancer is the second most common cancer in the GCC region. It is the most common cancer in Bahraini males and the second most common in Bahraini females.

Prostate cancer ranked tenth in the list of most common cancers in the GCC region with it ranked second most common in Bahrain.
