Bahrain Fort and Sound & Light Show
Qal’at al-Bahrain, or Bahrain Fort, is a magnificent reminder of the historical importance of this small island nation – the Kingdom of Bahrain. It testifies to the importance of Bahrain as a trading port over the centuries and the site was the capital of Dilmun, one of the most important, ancient civilizations of the region. It contains the richest remains inventoried of this civilization, which was hitherto only known from written Sumerian references.
Enjoy the tranquil, peaceful atmosphere of the site under the balmy, evening sky whilst watching a stunning Sound & Light show that reveals the ancient treasures of this unique island. Light refreshments will also be served during this “not to be missed experience”.
